How-to guide
Homework
Assign, submit and mark homework.
A task-focused guide: follow the steps when you need to get something done.
Homework is a two-sided flow: teachers assign and mark, students submit. Both use the Homework screen (different views per role).
Assigning homework (teachers)
- Open Homework → New assignment.
- Choose the class and (optionally) a specific section.
- Add a title, instructions and a due date.
- Attach files (PDFs, documents, images).
- Save.
Submitting homework (students)
- Open Homework to see assigned homework with due dates.
- Open an assignment and submit your work:
- Attach multiple files, or
- Type a text answer directly.
- Submit.
Marking homework (teachers)
- Open Homework → Mark.
- Open a student’s submission.
- Review their files — you can flip through images and annotate them with the built-in pen / highlighter / eraser tools.
- Add a mark or feedback and save.
Text-only answers render large and legible (no placeholder images), so they’re easy to read on any device.
Status
Each submission shows its status (e.g. submitted, marked), so students know where their work stands and teachers can see who hasn’t submitted yet.
Tips
- Attach a clear PDF or image so students know exactly what to do.
- Use the annotation tools to mark directly on a student’s uploaded image.
- Set due dates realistically so the overdue view stays meaningful.
