Settings
School profile, logo, preferences, attendance exemptions and public toggles.
The Settings screen (administrator only) holds the school’s configuration.
School profile
Set your school’s name, Bengali name, address, phone and
email. These appear on the login page, in the top bar, and on printed
documents (via the certificate {{school_name}} / {{school_address}}
placeholders).
School logo
Upload the school logo in Settings → School logo:
- PNG, JPG, WebP and SVG are all supported.
- The top bar renders it at 40px (34px on mobile) with no frame/background, so transparent PNGs sit directly on the bar.
- The sign-in page renders it larger (120px).
- The logo is used in printed certificates via
{{school_logo_url}}.
Preferences
- Density — comfortable or compact layout.
- Theme — light or dark (users can also toggle this from the top bar).
Attendance tracking exemptions
Choose which specific user accounts are exempt from attendance tracking. Exempt users are skipped by device and manual ingestion and by the absence sweep, and appear as “Not tracked” in the Staff roster.
Public results & fees toggles
- Public results — when on, published results are searchable by student ID
on the public
/resultspage. - Public fees — when on, fee statements (and online payment) are available
by student ID on the public
/feespage.
School theme
Each school can have a custom look, uploaded by the super administrator (Themes tab). A theme is a CSS file (light and/or dark) that recolours the app — accents, buttons, links, top bar, sidebar, ribbon and status chips. If you want a custom theme, ask your super administrator to upload one.
What settings affect
- The school profile and logo appear on the login page, top bar and printed documents.
- Exemptions affect attendance only.
- Public toggles affect what non-logged-in visitors can see.
Tips
- Set the school logo early — it confirms to everyone they’re in the right school.
- Keep the phone and email current; they print on receipts and certificates.
- Only enable public results/fees if you’re comfortable with ID-based lookup.
