How-to guide
Routines
Build the weekly class timetable.
A task-focused guide: follow the steps when you need to get something done.
The Routine screen holds the school’s weekly timetable. Only administrators build it; everyone else sees a read-only view.
Building the routine (administrator)
- Open Routine (Admin → Routine).
- For each class (and section), assign periods to days of the week:
- Pick the period/time slot.
- Pick the subject.
- Pick the teacher.
- Save.
The routine grid and a shared day view show the timetable per day.
What other roles see
- Teachers — a read-only “my classes” schedule view.
- Students — their routine inside Academics (read-only), with a Print button that produces a clean, printable routine document.
- Accountants and staff — a read-only view of the timetable.
Read-only for non-admins
Only administrators can edit the routine. Teacher and student views are intentionally read-only so they can’t accidentally change the timetable.
Printing
Students can print their routine from Academics → Routine → Print. The printout is self-contained and ready for the printer.
Tips
- Build the routine after classes, sections, subjects and teachers are set up.
- Use the day view to sanity-check that no teacher is double-booked.
- Remind students they can print their own routine if they want a paper copy.
